Tiny black dots (now with picture)

Hello,

my BeBook Display has randomly distributed tiny black dots about every milimeter or so. They are small enough that I cannot see them at a normal reading distance, but they nevertheless annoy me a litle bit. Their position does not change with a screen refresh and they are present with the BeBook switched off, too.
I have an iRex 1000S whose screen does not show these speckles.

Are the black dots normal or is my screen defective?

Hi There juergeng, the picture certainly doesn't look right
For starters I would download the latest firmware from the downloads page and reflash the BeBook ( you'll need an SD card! )
If that doesn't work then I'd go back to where you bought it and go for a replacement.
